My house is almost 100 years old and the floor is uneven.  I have tile flooring and HATE IT.   It is so old and dingy looking.  I have laminate flooring in my kitchem, dining room, 1/2 bath and foyer and love it.  Can I use it in my full bathroom where we take showers?   Is it durable for that?  I imagine I should hire a professional and he would more than likely have to rip out the old tile flooring since my floor is uneven.

Any advice?  I live in NJ.

Hello,
yes you can hire a professional but please take care of below points.
1. Don't use matte finish flooring but a gloss one.
2. Flooring should have a water resistant layer on upside.
3. Use light colors while selecting laminate flooring.

Most laminate fooring is damp resistant instead of water resistance. And the laminate flooring should be water resistant in all respect. So you need choose the product carefully. You can choose the color which you like whatever deep or light. I think rough surface laminate flooring is better for bathroom. The subfloor should be made even whatever you hire a professional one or not.
