We are pretty seriously considering getting some of this flooring from Costco. My final reservation is how hard our dogs may be on it. We have two dogs, a black lab and a Springer Spaniel. They are in the house enough that I am worried about that.

I have read one experience on this board that seems to indicate that dogs don't scratch the laminate. But, I'd love to hear from others who have dogs, medium to large in size, and how they affect the floor.

Also, would the guarantee cover scratches that dogs made?

thanks

When I bought my house, it already had harmonics flooring installed in it.  I have a 1 year old red heeler and a 24 year old husband.  The two of them are constantly running up and down the hallway.  Even with all of the stopping, turning and crazy movements they do, we can not find a single scratch.  I am so impressed with this flooring that I am going to install it in my new house that we are building this summer.
