I installed harmonics laminate floor last June and the strong and uncomfortable odor comes from the floor makes my family headache. Almost one year has been past and the smell is not meant to dissapear. If we close window for several hours, the odor will be unbearable that we need to go out for fresh air. we contact Harmonic company many times and they sent an inspector to check the odor. But it's so ridiculous that the inspector just took a piece of the floor away and smell it by using his own nose, no other further equipment testing. and what's on the report is totally different from what he felt and said in my house. I wish I should have used a tape to record what he said when he was checking the floor in my house. Now I'm pregnant and I'm deeply worried about the strange odor coming from the floor. I called the company and ask them to offer me a detailed and profesional air quality inspection in my house. But no reply from them. They can only say how fantastic quality of their product is and there should be no defective at all. I know I wil not use or recommend to my friend Harmonic floor any more. Their service really sucks.
