I would like to use laminate flooring in my living room and in two hallways but I am concerned because our floors expand up and down during different seasons because of clay in our soil (we live in Mississippi where this is common).  The front of our house is 3 to 4 inches higher then the back of the house where the living room is.  The floor raises approximately an inch in the wetter parts of the year.  Does anyone have experience with this?

Thanks,

Anne
