We brought a house with laminate floor in the lounge after we had removed this there was a starnge smell of 'damp'.We are having damp specialists look at it but someone suggested to us that the laminate flooring could be the cause of this damp because the laminate had been laid without any underlay onto the concrete floor which only had the origional thin floor tiles (the ones which are stuck to the concrete and are like a very thin lino attached to it) is this possible?
