I have to replace an end molding that got damaged but after visiting almost every store in town, I can not find the one that I need.
The damaged molding was used where the floor meets the threshold of an exterior door. It is squared, but I guess a round one will do (just like a stair nose)... The problem is that the molding is   2  3/8  wide and the moldings that the stores carry are narrower than that. Does anybody know where I can find this "wide" molding?

Thanks in advance
Daniel

Generally speaking, hardwood moldings are slightly larger than laminate moldings.  Of course, they are also more expensive.  Try to find a "Baby Threshold" molding that's made to fit 3/8 inch hardwood in a finish similar to your laminate.  Your local flooring store should be able to help you with this.  You might also be able to find a piece of unfinished molding the the "Millworks" section of your local builders supply that can be stained or painted my match the laminate.
