Got it kind of narrowed to these 2 products due to price and what tiny bit of info is out there available.  Robina apparantly used to be Witex but now ships out of the far east now.  ANyone have an opinion on them?  They have a real good price from BuildDirect by the pallet load for the 12mm.  Its seems like one of those too good to be true, except it has an AC4 rating and lifetime warranty (which what does that really mean anyways) plus the 12mm thickness has to be good for something.  The other is the westhollow Silencer Traditions because of the attached underlayment.  Lower AC3 rating but appears to be more established company?  I've seen good things about Witex, but does that carry over to this new Robina product??  Any opinoins on these?  All this flooring stuff is making my head spin.  Thanks in advance.

Hi Tom,

my husband who has hated laminate flooring(for looks) his entire life, just fell in love with Westhollow. It did not take much to convince me either.

we have researched the web and stores for the best deals but there are very few products that beat WH. Of course this is my opinion Smiley

Esp. the silencer traditions you mention have beveled edges and each strip is individualised - so it looks just like wood - as opposed to two or three photographs on a single plank. We have come across people in the industry who swore they could not distinguish WH laminates from actual wood floor when installed.

Another word of caution against builddirect - they kill you with shipping. Depending on where you are shipping - Ifloor might work out better. I also found beveled edged flooring on lumber liquidators. DIY flooring ships by pallet and they also give a discount based on quantity you order.

Hope this all helps...
