I am about to install laminate flooring for the first time on a concrete floor in my basement.  There are places on the floor where the cement finishers left small bumps, about quarter size and some up to a quarter inch high.
Do I need to remove these before I lay the pad?
And if so, how?
Thanks

drops of concrete on the floor ! i use the claw hammer laid on its side and hold it down hard and slide it across the lumps ,if it wont come off hit the lumps with the hammer and crush them ,then slide the claw of the hammer over it .
