The only place to glue Laminate are the ends only not the side joins .The whole rows need to be able to slip without the end coming apart . Reason is if the are areas where strong sunshines the floor panels will exspand and need to move where there is no sun they wont exspand as much and dont move as much so individual rows move independant of each other  Make sense ? I learned this the hard way .

You can use accessories such as reducer, skirting or quarter round to hand the edge of laminate flooring. The locking system on the long side will help the planks lock each other together.
