Can the laminate be installed and locked from both sides of the first run?
My situation: The area I plan to cover is the foyer which is part of hallway, powder room off hallway then into kitchen.  It's obviously not a square or rectangle area (that would be too easy).  I plan on starting my first run down the middle of the hallway because it the first thing seen entering the front door and should have symetry from wall to wall.  However, this would mean installing susequent runs on both sides of the first run.  Can this be done?
Thanks so much.

Laying Laminate in two directions from the first row ! yes of course you can go both ways Just takes a bit of thinking about as you change from one side to the other
I quite often work down a hall way and go into rooms on either side .
Or in the case of a really big room its possable to run teams of layers starting in the middle of a room and go bothways . Can lay in half the time .

After a absence of over work and the like im back !!
Its important to start down one side of a hall way with the boards going part way through a doorway so it easyer to start at that point when you want to do that room . Also check the width of the planks and space them so that you dont end up with wee narrow piece to be added on the final edge . Its not impossible just tricky !
