Hello, my husband and I are about to install laminate flooring.  We are using uniboard which we bought at Sam's.  We are going with the glueless click 'n seal "Premium".  My question is about the sound---will we be able to hear the plasic vapor barrier underneath our floor?  We are installing over cement slab, by hearing, I mean the rusle of plastic under foot.  Also, the boards came with pre-attached foam stuff on the back, so we shouldn't need to put down additional sound barrier right?  The instructions say no, but I do want good sound barrier (refering to the click, clicks), so if it would be advisable to put additional down, I would like to know.  Anyway, I think that about covers it for now.  We are doing the aclimation period right now, and will be ready to start tommorow evening, any help or comments good possitive or negative would be most appricated!

Thanks,

Thanks,

Use a concrete sealer . Its a 2 pot flexable epoxy formulated specialy for this purpose . Requiers 2 coats , dries quickly and you just use the foam underlay with the planks straight on top . NO PLASTIC NO NOISE .
