Hi ...

We had laminate flooring installed approx. 4 years ago.  It is Venta, which is apparently no longer made.

We recently experienced water damage from a leaking water heater in the garage.  It seeped under the walls and into the entry way of our house (under the floor, with just minor water staining at the floorboard) causing warped planks (on the seams) in a 6' x 6' area.

Is it possible to pull up panels from one room and re-use in another?  They were glueless.  Does anyone have experience with Venta flooring Huh?

I do have one box of planks leftover from the original installation, but it won't be enough to repair the area.   I am hoping to be able to just re-use planks from one room to repair, then carpet the area we took it out of.

Thanks for any help you can give.

Louise

You should have no problem with what you want to do.
