Has anybody had the problem of swelling or bubbles at the seam?  Right in the middle of the dining area where we installed Kronotex Clic2Clic about two weeks ago, a few "bubbles" have appeared right at a seam.  There are three swells on a seam going down the length of a plank, each about an inch long and taking about 1/2 inch of plank on either side of the seam.  The tenants just moved in a week ago.  Could they have dropped some liquid to cause this or is this a manufacturers defect?
Any info appreciated.
Thanks,
Janine

The bubbles you mention  might be from the installation.  I installed clic2clic and noticed that if you dont mesh the boards tightly before you lay them down you can hear the board spread.  The area just below the applied laminate will lift causing what looks like long bubbles around the seam. I was very unhappy with the quality and fit of the boards.  It was very easy to damage boards whie installing.  I installed some Shaw laminate and it was much easier and a lot stronger than the kronotex.

The bubbles are definetly coming from a spilled liquid that was not cleaned up soon afterwards.  Its either ice that melted, an animal "accident" or something of the sorts.  As far as the boards spreading....thats b/c they're not installed correctly...purely installation errors.  Just b/c you have problems with the floor doesn't mean you should automatically blame it on the product.  Its more about the way its installed.
