We recently install about 700 sq/ft of the Kronotex flooring in our kitchen, diningroom, livingroom and hallway.  It looks fantastic compared to what we had there.  We are however having a small problem, in from of the bathroom door in the hallway and in the doorway of the kitchen we have a couple of spots that look like the floor has shifted?  Maybe that's not quite right but it looks as though the boards have seperated slightly and one side isn't locked in to the other board properly.
Anyone else had this problem?  I know it's not from moisture, perhaps from some dirt that was trapped in the groove of the boards during installation?  I'm at a lose as to what to do about it, can this be fixed?  Can someone shed some light for me?
Thanks :?

I just installed the shenandoah oak. I have had previous experience installing real oak as well. I have seen problems like that with real hardwood because it does not snap together the way laminate does. The kronotex shouldn't have shifted unless maybe theres too much play around the perimeter. I put wedges in certain spots hidden at the walls. There's plenty of breathing room for the floor to let you do this contrary to the books.

Another thing could be moisture under the floor causing what you see. I know flooring tends to shrink under certain conditions. If you used good quality underlayment padding then you should not be having that problem.
