Hi I was wondering if anybody knows about engineered bamboo flooring and how it would compare with their laminate flooring?

I have some engineered bamboo flooring from Four Winds Bamboo and I like it.  I got it because laminate sounds too tinny.  Does anyone know how to fix bad sounding laminate?  And are there any laminates that come close to engineered products?
